I just updated my Xperia using the update service and when prompted to backup data, I made a full copy of the Mobile Content via USB to my PC thinking that this is just an "Update" so contacts, SMS, installed programs should remain.

Of course everything was deleted, and fortunately enough I was able to sync back my contacts, but I have totally lost all SMS.

Is there any way to restore the SMS back to Xperia from the copied files I made? Are Messages stored in the file directory in a way to make it possible to copy back?
