    Default SMS reminder

Hi all, just a simple question : there's any solution to the fact that the X1 doesn't remind you of an unread SMS? I know that some cheap cells have this basic feature why not the X1...
    Thanks
    Ivan

I THINK that the Slide To Unlock app has a built in SMS reminder... But that is the only app I know of to have it.

    Question

....downloaded and installed but no reminders until now...
i don't know if one of the settings is specific to SMS remiders but i only find an "unread MMS" option that i don't know what it does, but anyway i don't use often MMS, at least not as i'm using SMS so is not really interesting for me...
Tried to receive an SMS and then wait until the phone goes in sleep mode but non reminder after the standard sound and the usual led blinking...

What i need is to have the SMS sound/alarm raise at a regular interval (maybe 3-5 minutes) until i finally read the SMS. Since the X1 has a very soft vibration when i'm in a noisy place i don't hear the incoming SMS nor the vibration...on another cell that i had in the past (Samsung), when an SMS is received it beeps every 3 minutes until you read it. It is very useful, when you move to a less noisy place you hear for sure the beep every 3 minutes and you'll be warned about an unread SMS...
Let me know if i have to set anithing on "Slide to unlock" to achieve that i need...

Phonealarm has a feature to set frequency/ type of missed call/ sms etc reminders. The program has loads of other features including auto switching profiles and today screen plugins that can be skinned (to name but a few!)

or if you don't want all the other functions maybe something like this Don't Forget (Freeware I believe!) Application ?
I haven't tried the second one, but if you do post here how you get on thanks. I like the fact that it can turn off reminders during certain times (like overnight)

Dontforget isn't freeware either - i found this (MissedCallReminder) on XDA developers. It has an SMS reminder on it too.
