Thread: Release Date in Russia, Japan and China?

I wonder if anyone here happens to know when X1 will appear in these countries: Russia, Japan and China?

The reason I ask is that I really want the Russian, Japanese or Chinese keyboard on my X1, not just the plain English keys. I'll be in these countries by the end of 2008...

And generally, do SonyEricsson phones sell in Japan? When I was there last time, I saw lots of fantastic, astonishing phones that are sold exclusively in Japan, nowhere else on planet.

Any hint is greatly appreciated!

SE has phones only cater for Japanese market.

Phones in Japan are much more advance (atleast a year ahead) than the rest of the world. Thats why you won't be able to use Japanese phones outside their countries. There are only a few Jap phones that can be use in our side of the world and they can be bought in Hong Kong which are unlocked.

Vodafone can't compete in Japan and sold 98% of it's Japan company to Softbank.
