Asked a lass in vodafone Middlesbrough, the lass stated she hasnt even heard of the handset. T she checked the computer and said oh yes were gonna get it on 12th October 2008

I never (rarely) complain, but I can't understand SE. Why I don't see any advertisement for Xperia on TV, Radio, Newspapers Magazines, On-line. NOWHERE!.

This is their FLAG SHIP product and if I ask any of my friends, or any mobile store, or providers like AT&T or T-Mo in USA for the XPERIA, all of them say HUH?

The only people who knows about are the people on these forums. How are they going to sell millions of units and make a name for themselves?

you in USA, right? X1 is not out in usa yet! maybe they advertise during Xmas holidays!

Yeah, NY. AT&T has 850/1900/3G right on my area. So I believe the I won't have problem here with an unlock from UK.

BTW the employees from any AT&T store don't even know Xperia exist or what bands they have. Anyway nobody here has confirm if AT&T will carry it

Numba1guju - I also popped into O2 UK yesterday and was told that they have got the promo posters in for the X1 butdont know a date as yet.

T-Mobile just said all there new handsets go on their website first. and basically they didnt have a clue.

I agree. I haven't seen any "hype" for the phone except online, while instead I see commercial after commercial for the iPhone.

who was in Indonesia? did u guys have any info when will it come to Indonesia. Feels like waiting for a century.too long.....>.<
