    Lightbulb Virtual keyboard

    Hi everyone.

I wondered if anyone with a X1 could answer my question for me.

Im interested how easy the virtual keyboard is to use for texting and emails etc?

It looks really small when its in the portrait position and wondered if its easy to type still?

I text alot and would need to use the virtual keyboard when out and about for ease.

Are there any images about with a view of the virtual keyboard in the portrait position?

Many thanks for your info and opinions.

    A massive thank you.

Its the same size on potrait or lanscape mode.....Its worse than useless!! you cant use your fingers, unless your a hampster! you have to use the pen, which in my opinion defeats the object. Its just another let down on the X1.
If you want to text on a virtual keypad check out the IPHONE or the BLACKBERRY STORM.......Good luck.

yes I think it is, the reviews I have read have said the same. Basically its unusable by fingers, pen only. Its a shame because they could have made a good job of it. I cant seem to find any pictures either, try you tube.....if I get chance Ill post some pics later

You can get a dial pad keyboard that makes it like texting on a normal phone, although it is still quite slow compared to the qwerty slide out keyboard. It's good for a quick short text.

virtual keyboards from other phones (e.g., diamond) are available for download so you can find one that is amenable to one-handed texting.
