    Default screen protector

Anyone know if there is a decent screen protector out there for the X1? I ordered one from ebay for 10 gbp and it was too big.

    I've gone for this:

Vikuiti ARMR200 screen protector for Sony Ericsson: Amazon.co.uk: Electronics & Photo

    Alternatively you could try this:

Vikuiti DQC-160 screen protector for Sony Ericsson: Amazon.co.uk: Electronics & Photo

Mine got dispatched today so will let you know how it is. They say it is custom cut specifically for the X1 and it has been sent from Germany so good chances that it should be ok.

Got to be honest I am not sure but they are sent by the same people who did the Vakuiti. It's worth a punt but I went for the Vakuiti on recommendation from another forum. The Vakuiti is the brand name for 3M which has always been a very good company so I do trust it.

My only worry is again will it fit. I hope so!!!!

Ah hold on - these are the guys who sent it to me:

    Translated version of http://www.schutzfolien24.de/

The page should be translated but if not do a google search for bedifol and it will be the first to come up. Has a great comparison table right on the top so you can make your decision!

I went for the Vakuiti also because it is anti reflective and pretty strong....

If all works out but the Matt finish bothers me I would probably go for the DQC-160...

Oh and one last thing - Martin Fields and Brando are very good screen protectors but as of yet they don't have the Xperia ones out. So if you want to wait you could do well to go for those two....

wow respect for such an informative post but with the Vakuiti, you only get one protector dont you, whereas with bedifol u get 6 lol

also on the table bedifols scratch resistant and dirt is low and none, does that means it good, whereas for the other ones it says strong?

Got mine from the same distributor. They are pretty fast because they send it by letter post.

The fit is tight but I think that's good - less places where dirt and dust can crawl under.

Given the description of the others I would take it that resistance to dirt and scratches would be low i.e. not as good as the ARMR200. But against that I believe the ARMR200 is probably thicker which means you need to make the screen more sensitive (although I still have the protective film on that came with the phone - and that is thicker and I have no issues with screen sensitivity.

I don't know about the amount I will be getting but given the durability of the thing 1 should be enough. One thing you need to note about the Bedifol is that although 6 come in the pack, because it is thinner and more prone to dirt etc. then odds on you are likely to need more than one - however that is subjective and depends on ones usage....

Blackforestswitch seems to have got his and says it fits pretty snugly - which is good! Thanks for the info BFS....
