    Default Screen goes balnk during calls!!!

    Here's something that is annoying...

    The screen goes off whilst taking a call [goes black] and you can only bring it back by pushing the 'power' button or volume buttons on the side.

    This proved very frustrating when I phoned vodafone from the phone and was asked by the automated system to 'press 1 for.... and 2 for '' etc only to find my screen was non responsive and had gone black.

    Just change the settings here:

    Start -> Settings -> System -> Power -> Advanced

    and set both, the display and turn off to a longer timeframe. But keep in mind, the longer both are on, the higher the power drain.

    Sorry to report, blackforestwitch, but the Advanced Power settings do not affect the screen hibernation during phone calls. As far as I have seen, there is no way to change this.
    I believe this is because if the screen was active you could be hitting buttons with your face since touch screen is more sensitive than the traditional buttons on phones. Therefore, you just have to get used to pressing the joystick or on/off switch button then pulling up the keypad if it isn't already up, then hitting the number you want.
    This is one reason I'm beginning to get frustrated with the touch screen.
    I hear apple iPhone uses the accelerometer to sense when the phone is more vertical and against your ear to turn the screen off, then when you pull away it immediately turns the screen on with keypad visible. hmmm, got to hand it to Apple on this one.
