Thread: Headset not disapairing

I have problem with my phone. even removing my headset from phone ...it's still showing in the display..the sound is not coming in the phone..please help me..

I had the exact same thing happen to me....

Here's how i solved it...

Inserting the heaphones wont do it....I tried that also...

There is some kind of mechanism inside that gets stuck...

All i did was inserted my stylus into the socket and wiggled it around a bit, not hard but hard enough....pushed it down...inside etc...just play with it...

Then i heard what sounded like a click and the mechanism got unstuck and the headphone symbol dissapeard.....yay fixed...

Also to note is that even though this happend once....it has never repeated itself in the 3 weeks after it first happened

I tired that also but i am still having same problem

Only advice now would be to get a replacement, as this is definitely caused by hardware....namely the socket where the headphones are inserted is faulty

Hey yes this is happening to me now too. I love my X1 and I don't want to send it back and be without it for x weeks, but I can't use my phone without the headset connected because when I take it out the phone thinks it's still in there and the icon stays on the screen. Crazy...
