Default X1 not compatible with TomTom devices!

Has anyone succesfully paired their phone with an external tomtom device? (so you can use there travel subscription service)

I cant get mine to work, TomTom havent been able to help either.

Surely a phone like the X1 should be good enough to be compatible?

If it's any help, the N95 has problems with this too.
Many hours playing around, and now it's all great.

Tried to install TomTom7 on the X1, unsuccessful, and it seems SE or TT are not of any help. Does anyone can advise?

I think I may have found a solution as someone has pointed me in a direction..

Microsoft removed Bluetooth DUN (Dial up networking) from Windows Mobile 6 - This has been replaced with PAN / Internet Connection Sharing.

TomTom currently only support DUN and not PAN.

Aparently DUN was removed and the operators were able to add it into their ROM if they wanted to, just not many carriers did..
I have found a CAb file with the DUN profile on it:
xda-developers - View Single Post - TOMTOM GO and WM6 (DUN)

    it is file: WM6_BT_DUN.cab

I am at work so can't test it, but hopefully this should sort out my problem.. maybe yours too?
Let me know if you try it.
I shall reply tonight to say if i am a happy bunny or not.

    yes... it works...

remember though that using wifi at the same time as blueooth turns your bluetooth off..
but it can be fixed by reading this thread:

Having just set this up a few tips - copy cab file to X1 and install with File Explorer then soft reset (button in battery compartment next to battery) with phone on.
    Tomtom now happy!
