Thread: Not to sync MSN contacts with Phone contacts

It seems like a popular issue for Smartphones.

I really don't want all 200+ msn contacts stay on my phone contacts.
I tried the sync option in windows live, and the options are grey and unchangeable.
(I choose YES for the first time I ran it)

Some old posts from other forum suggest to use a 3rd party messenger. However, I'm not interesting in other messengers.

I wonder if there is a newer version of Windows Live Messenger Mobile that fixes this problem.

Did a hard reset, and ran Messenger again.
Choose not to sync this time, and problem solved.

You didn't have to do a hard reset. You could have just gone into Windows Live, then choose account options and then switch Windows Live ID.

Thats right Ves, a hard reset seems awfully like overkill, just logging off the live account does the trick just as well!
