Are you sure we will get it as an update in SEX1? or is it for new mobiles alone?

Well that is teh question I'm asking really. I have to say I don't think the X1 has been the phone I thought it would be and wondering if Win 7 would help with that - being MSFT then I doubt it as it'll probably slow it down even further!!!! but we can always live in hope.

No chance of an update to winmo 7, good thing too because it is rubbish, the UI looks awfull
and no existing winmo apps will work.
It is a totally new OS, like the difference between winmo, android, symbian etc.

It's possible with the help of the Sony Ericson's Update Service you can update your product software for optimal performance and get the latest enhancements. Regardless if you have the latest software, it is a good routine to run Update Service to improve software stability.
due to connection failure error you can check network settings as well as your virus protection program and firewall allow Update Service.

Maybe som folks over at XDA will develop a rom for us? But i think the X1'll slow down, it even is slow when it runs wm 6.5. Let's just hope.

The X1 has half the processing speed required as a minimum requirement for Windows Phone 7.

It will never get it and I don't think it'll be possible for the guys at xda-dev to port it.

If the HTC HD2 won't get Windows Phone 7, I seriously doubt the X1 will.
