tomtom6 is compatible and so is 7 even though you are not meant to have it yet
Tomtom 6 does run but you will need a piece of software which changes the screen resolution from 480x800 to 480x640. Some kind soul has written some software to do this as this problem first arose on the Toshiba G900. See

Tomtom will run fine but you will have a black band accross the bottom of the screen which does nothing. (the bottom 160 pixels in fact). Some of the colours can go a little odd depending on what panel your running too. A bit of experimentation will remove this problem though. The satnav software itself runs fine.
Tomtom 7 will also run on this phone and supports the 480x800 resolution. However, it has not been released yet so if you want a copy you will have to resort to some of the pre-release versions which can be found via the likes of bitorrent.
I can now report that TomTom 5 is not running on the X1![]()
I have tried to install Tomtom Navigator 6.030 but it does not run. I keep getting the message:
Unable to start
An exception occurred:
Memory access violation
If anyone knows the solution please reply?
I just got the confirmation that TomTom 7 (Dutch edition) works on the X1 (haven't got the software myself to try it). Unfortunately iGO2006 won't start on my X1.

TomTom7 on PDA
Works fine for me on my Vodafone UK X1, I have Central Europe maps 1GB running TT7.910.9185 and Maps version 8.15.2024.
Very simple to install, 'cab' file installation and copy and activate maps to SD card.

I have TT7 installed on mine. Works ok. But a bit slow to screen refresh the map when you're driving along. Not sure if that's because of the X1 or TT7. Seems bearable though. Might change to TT6 if I start getting the hump with it.
