Thread: Emulators

HI a little rant by me.

Apprently the X1 is suposed to have a graphics accelerator built in, so why on earth are alt he emulators for it so god **** slow? the only one i have had any remote joy with is the pocketsnes emu, on my n95 8gb Genesis SNES and GBA run almost flawlessly and thats half the spec of the X1, looking on you tube it seems people have the EMU's running pretty quick, is there somthing i need to do to get this phone working at its full potential or is goign to be EBAY???

So you want to sell your phone on eBay if you can't get emulators to run smoothly?! I think you'll find it will be the emulators themselves that aren't very good. That and maybe the X1 firmware which will be updated anyway.

I like to use my phone for playing games like sonic n metroid when im on long travels which is quite offen gives me somthin to do, as i say my n95 plays them fine and lookin on youtube people seem to have emus runnin pretty smooth on there too. i got this phone as an 'upgrade' but if it cant do what my n95 can it feels liek a downgrade
