Thread: TomTom Navigator 6 Help!

I have installed Tomtom 6.030 which is the most recent update onto my new X1. but when trying to run Tomtom i keep getting the message:

Unable to start
An exception occurred:
Memory access violation

I have tried uninstalling and re-installing and doing the usual soft resets and I have tried it with various different maps loaded but keep getting the same message

Can anyone help?

I tried and it won't work for tomtom 6.030.
I get the feeling the 480x800 resolution spoils a lot of programs especially the elder versions.
the only way it works is when the screen is turned diagonally (open keyboard or change screen settings) and only on about 1/3 of the screen.

anybody got a clue of how to enable programs that only support 480x640 screens?
is there a tool or something?

i also tried navigon 05 and 03SE neither can be installed...

can anybody help?

alright, nevermind.
i installed vmodeswith and that works just fine.
navigon is still not working though...
