Thread: PopUps

Has anyone else started to get annoying popups from this site?
Everytime i visit now i get a popup and have had to step my popup blocker
to block all popus.
They are popus for the Iphone, uggh, spit spit, puke
And screensavers etc..

I have no such popups

Don't know if i have a virus, just noticed onecare is turned off, can viruses turn of your
virus protection without you knowing about it?
I know it was ok last friday because thats when it does a full scan.
I cant even turn it back on as for some reason it won't let me, tried restarting and still the
same, will have to contact microsoft about it, never had any problems when i used
Mcaffee don't know why i changed.

You have spyware on the computer probably.

Why is it only happening on this site though?
I have deliberately just gone to a few dodgy sites just to see what popups i got and
nothing happened, just come back here and the popup blocker flashed at me.
Managed to get onecare working, scanning now to see if it gets anything.

Getting no messages in FF saying pop-ups have been blocked.

Sounds like you need to run AdAware and Spybot S&D.

Just to confirm, there are no popups on this site. In fact, as long as you are registered and logged in, no ads should appear.

Ran a full scan with Onecare and Webroot spysweeper, nothing found.
It is not doing it today though.
