does anyone have the 'cool hunting' panel working?

i can install it fine, and follow the links (which work), but the panel doesn't actually update! all the links are from over a year ago

i tried downloading from other sources, uninstalling and re-installing, installing on different roms with different panel managers etc... but no joy

so... any ideas, has anyone ever used it/ seen it working???
