(Pre Release) On The Road Panel
On The Road Panel
ON THE ROAD PANEL HAS NOW BEEN RELEASED IN THE UK
NEW ON THE ROAD PANEL IS SLIGHTLY BIGGER THAN THE PRE RELEASE
I SUGGEST YOU DOWNLOAD THE NEW ONE COZ IT HAS BEEN UPDATED

I have it and its working fine! I love it! Im less likely to crash now lol and the music players awesome I dont need to look now to skip tracks (my x1 connects to my car speekers)

On the Road looks great - nice big buttons! When it gets released i hope to see xda all over it - changing the default navigation from Google to something else ie TomTom.
Played with the CNN panel - it replaces the Sony Erricson Panel by default - seems very slow (pre release i know) but still....
So far so good

Wayfinder pops up when I hit the navigation button and thats cool coz thats what I want it to do lol. Theres only one thing I dont like so far........ its in km not mph

You can set it from KM to MPH. The only problem is that the navigation section does not let me choose TomTom, as kBm already stated.

oh yea lol you can set it to mph so now its perfect for me lol. Did you install kbm b4 tomtom?

you can change default navigator in the same place you change the mph?

Google Maps is the only option for navigation. Im guessing it will change on official release as this is still the beta, and google maps is the defualt on the phone.
It works well though - tracked my car journey this morning, average speed, distance etc. Nice!
Music works well, playlist are easy to select on the move, or choose from a folder.
Would prefer to choose the colour/ skin to suit me rather than the green....
Edit; Playing with the iPhone panel - what you see is what you get. No settings to modify the buttons. Pretty useless then....
