I'm not going to beat around the bush.

Basically, I got my X1 on the premise of being able to respond to emails and stay organised on the move. This is fine, except for the fact when I am "on the move" tends to be when I am doing fieldwork. Signal wise, you've probably heard about the X1's temperamental signal issues. My phone is fine in urban or semi-urban surroundings, but when I need it most, IE, in the middle of a mire, or in the middle of adder country, in a national park, I might actually need to phone for help, and this is when I get no signal pretty much 100% of the time.

So really I'd like to swap out my phone to something else with decent email abilities, and good signal. I'm just wondering what the going rate is at the moment for well used X1's, and whether there are people out there willing to do straight swaps, X1 for iPhone etc?

And yeah, I know I could look on ebay for prices, but my ebay experiences basically make me shun that site like the plague...
