Unhappy How do I delete the icon of removed application from menu?

Hi guys, a few days I downloaded a stupid application which didn't work in my cell. Then I deleted it using remove programs but when I saw the menu the icon is still listed there. Although it even recognise where it actually is. When I tries re installing it and removing, a bigger problem. Another icon appears which doesn't work. What should I do? I checked for residual files in other system folders like prog files and windows but I didn't find anything. Any ideas?

Have you performed soft reset after removing the program?
If so, try uninstall with this app: TMS UnInstaller v freeware for Windows Mobile Pocket PC.

Its already removed nor. Its not listed in the remove programs list. All that remains is a stupid dummy icon in the programs menu.

Goto file manager in your programs menu. Go to the phone memory (keep pressing "up" until u no longer can do so) then you'll see an icon called "windows" get into it (it'll take time to open depending upon your installed apps etc) in that windows folder you'll find another folder "startmenu" open it and goto programs and delete the name of your uninstalled prog.
