Thread: Editing MS Office stored on X1 from your pc

I am impressed by my X1 but REALLY frustrated with one thing: when connected to my PC I can see all my files on the X1 and it storage card, but can't open them on my PC. i.e I can't use explorer on my pc to open an excel file stored on my X1. I wanted to use the mem card on the x1 like a USB drive so I could just plug into my pc and all my files were there AND EDITABLE IN SITU. Does anyone know of an app that can do this - or is this impossible? yes I can copy them to my desktop edit and copy back - but this is tedious!

If you go to settings - connections - usb to pc and set to disk drive you should be able to
open in the way you are looking for.
