Thread: Problems With My Contacts

BEFORE AT ALL WANT TO SAY HI FROM MEXICO, I´M NEW WITH MY X1 AND I HAVE SOME PROBLEMS WHEN I WANTED TO IMPORT MY CONTACTS FROM MY OLDER P990I TO THE XPERIA BECAUSE APPARENTLY THERE IS NO WAY TO "JUST SEND THEM VIA BLUETOOTH", AND WHEN I TRIED TO COPY ALL "MANUALLY" THE X1 "MIXED" THE CONTACTS WITH MY OUTLOOK CONTACTS AND WITH MY MSN MAIL CONTACTS SO AS YOU CAN SEE NOW I HAVE A REAL PARTY WITH ALL BECAUSE MANY OF THEM ARE DUPLICATE OR EVEN TRIPLICATE, JEJEJE MMMMM

IS THERE A WAY TO JUST SEE ONE CONTACT WITH ALL THE INFORMATION OR SOME WAY TO MAKE THE XPERIA RECOGNIZE THAT THE CONTACT IS ALREADY ON THE LIST?

OR I HAVE TO DO THIS ONE BY ONE, IT HAPPENS EVERY TIME I SINCRONYZE THE XPERIA WITH MY COMPUTER, ALWAYS THE PHONE MIX ALL MY CONTACTS...

No te entiendo un pomo, maber decilo en español... yo tengo sincronizado mis contactos del outlook con gmail y de ahi sincronice el outlook con el telefono.

I do have the same problem. I went from P1i to X1i and I couldn't transfer contacts from my old phone via bluetooth...any solutions? thx.

Did you transfer (save) your contacts to your sim from your old phone? If not, you should have done that. If you did, simply use the 'copy contacts' option to copy from SIM this will re-load your contacts. I uploaded from an old old phone without problems. If you are talking about sync'ing with Outlook, then you must do a search on this forum as that has been addressed.

Yes i tried to do that but my sim card only can held 300 contacts and i have more than that, so even they have 2 or 3 numbers you know (home, mobile, work), and the contacts take a number for a contact so they do more than 600!!! there´s no space for all of them!!, now i´m getting used to see all my contacts two times on my list, thanks whatever, and i hope my english was understandable, hi from MEXICO
