Default Using Music As Sms/mms Alerts???
Has anyone found out how to do the above?

Ive tried cutting down tracks under 30 seconds, converting them to WAV files, cutting and pasting to various folders, and still no go!!! The sounds that come with the phone for these alerts are hidious, and would like an actual music track as my alert.

I have put my message tones in "my documents" and my ringtones in "ringtones".

This is **** but its the only way to get the message tone changed.

Only SE knows why they have done this and why they have made so many stupid mistakes on a great phone.

Also you can put any .mp3 directly in the 'Windows' folder - then it will come up in the list of avialable sounds even for 'New text message' (or similar).

Hold the stylus on the screen in a blank area and Paste should appear. The bottom of the screen is best.

In File Explorer, at bottom of screen hit: menu -> edit -> paste
