Well its a brushed finish though, so you'd have to polish it with some micron sand paper or whatever those were called, I forgot. I would never do that to my X1 lol.

But anyway, does anyone know of some nice photos online that could be used to compare silver vs black?

Guys ... all I can say that this phone looks so good in both colors & you wouldn't regret your choice...I've seen them in the flesh both colors beside each other yesterday (9/10)

Cheers guys

I was wondering, does the black make the X1 look any more dull than the silver?

Oh and does the silver actually look shiny? or is it normal and matte due to the brushed finish?

Yep thats what I was wondering. Thanks.

Ill probably be going for the black then, contrasts against the screen, chrome accents, and keyboard nicely.

Silver without a doubt.
Seems like the market is flooded with black phones at the moment.
Pre-ordered silver.

That is true.. a silver phone would stand out more.

But then, maybe more phones are black for a reason?

Tough choices.. I wonder if the LEDs would stand out more on the black version compared to the silver.
