How Important is a Scrren Protector?

Is it a must to use with this phone?

I'm just wondering 'cos I don't really like the thought of adding one. It will be nice to protect the screen but for what if it affects the whole experience.

Or are there any that don't even let you feel the difference?

Screen protectors are never a must, people just like to protect their phones. Especially a phone that costs ~$800 lol.

I dont think adding a screen protector would make touching harder. Although I've never had a touch screen phone. However, my MP3 and K800i have screen protectors, and as for display clarity, I barely notice anything.

My brother went without when he had his p990 and managed to scratch the screen with the stylus (it was actually a bit of grit between stylus and screen!).
I've always had screen protectors on my touch screens I would say it depends on the quality of the protector as to how much it will affect the experience, this is a comparison review of some of the makers ...
