I just picked up the HTC Touch Pro (AT&T Fuze). Maybe if SE gets their ducks in a row and releases the X1 I'll sell my new phone and roll the X1.

Well, that's a wrap for the xperia...instead of an x1a coming out through AT&T, Sony's decided to sell on their web site and at Best Buy at....get this....$800.

Are they nuts?

Bummer....I would've liked this phone....but no way I'm paying $800 for essentially a prettier Touch Pro (Fuze on AT&T).

In Europe the X1 is been sold unbranded and unlocked for that or more.
why the Unlocked in USA expected to be lower?

Is not that the Europeans are rich. (American are known as big spenders)
Europeans and Asian apparently value the smartphones mobiles.
Here 99% of the users just get a "phone" for Free.
AT&T has about 30-40 Free phones.

It is not money, it is cultural.

Well I dont know how to feel about this. But the important thing is this....IT IS FINALLY available from SONY....for presale...and they might even send em out by 11/21. Just wanted to let everyone know who wanted to buy one. Only silver here at the moment. Goodluck everyone! This battle might finally be coming to an end.
