Default Well my phone is now cracked...
So I just noticed on my phone I have not 1 but 2 cracks on the housing.
One is on the left hand inside where the battery cover is and one, strangely on the top where the camera lens is.

Not happy Jan!

Has anyone who has imported their Xperia had any problems taking it to the local SE repair agent? I just have this feeling this International warranty thing is going to be a waste of time.

If they don't fix this I feel my next phone won't be a SE anymore... my fan boyism of Sony Ericsson will end... what am I talking about Xperia 2...

I know how you feel. I have recently got a crack in my X1, again near the battery cover next to the volume rocker. Mines a UK launch handset from Voda UK, November 2008. It's a shame since I take absolute care of all my toys...

I sent mine in to Sony to fix 3 cracks. Sent it on 06/09/2009 and got it back yesterday, 06/24/09.

Well I sent them an email and they directed it to the repair agent in Melboune, hopefully I have a speedy fix like you dut.

I think it's the battery cover that cracks the phone, if it too tight it puts pressure on the plastic.

Oh, make sure you back your phone up. They will wipe the phone to make sure everything works and update the software, probably even if you have the updated software already.

I want a program specifically for backing up contacts, I can care less about the rest. Wish there was a way to copy contacts to storage card. ? . ?

Sigh... always bloody problems if something happens to me. The repair agent is sending the handset back to me because they wont 'honor' the repair. Called up my SE rep and told her so she is now looking into it. I knew there would be a problem...

Werid the 1800 xperia line girl told me that the xperia does NOT have a international warranty. But in the box it says it does and so does the rep for SE.

I hate this!
