Default ** Kuztardd's Esential Installation and Settings List **
Kuztardd’s Installation order and essential Programmes

Not sure if this will be of any help but I catalogued every step that I did to get my phone back to its original state after a hard reset yesterday.

This is a list of all my settings, and all the essential programmes that I install to make my phone just how I like it.

Feel free to comment, slate or question :-)
And hit the thanks buton if you feel it is worthy

After installing Total commander: Make SMS text box larger: open windows/thread_sms.htm, change 35 to 70.

Settings: Personal: Today: Items: Date/ windows Live/Pocket Plus/Spb backup/ Messaging/Spb Time/Calendar
Settings: Personal: Menus: /Messaging/Notes/Opera/Pictures/Wlan/Xperia Bluetooth Switcher
In Opera go to about:config / Go to "User prefs" / Uncheck "UAProf URL enabled" - Opera will now not auto detect wap sites.

Tweaks:
Using Smartreg for Regediting:
Change the registry:
Data time out's:
HKLM\Comm\ConnMgr\Planner\Settings\CacheTime
- this is a value in seconds, so 60 seconds is a 1 minute timeout after being idle

Using Schap’s Config tool Settings
Network
Wi-Fi auto off timeout - yes
Turn off Wi-Fi if no activity – 1 minute
Bluetooth
Bluetooth device name - ZarmplePhone
GPS
Assisted GPS: Enabled
Internet Explorer
Links to keep - 100
Search page - Google
Messaging
SMS recipients limit – Unlimited
HTC TouchFLO/Pressure threshold/Custom/999999999
HTC TouchFLO/Finger Pressure/Custom/999999999
MENU - MORE SETTINGS:
Connections
Mobile web+02 active - disconnect after 1 mins
Key Mapping
Right soft key - messaging
Menu - more settings - connections - enable wifi in standby mode

Place new ringtones in: \\MyDocuments\Ringtones

Change the wrong date stamp on the small fish panels:
Using Total Commander goto:
\Program Files\Panels\3DFishPanel
Turn off system attribute
Rename them 4 bmp files to *.old
Copy generic bmp’s to the folder and make them system files

Settings: System: SPB Pocket Plus: Close Button: Feature Options: (change settings)
Settings: System: SPB Pocket Plus: Taskbar Battery indicator (turn Off):Feature Options: Small

AEBplus Settings:
Left Key:
1. Press left Soft Key
2. WLAN
3. Alt + Tab
Long: Show actions Menu

Right Key:
1. Press right Soft Key
2. Task manager
3. Uptime Information
Long: soft reset phone

Change Conection/internet time out amounts
Change the registry:
HKLM\Comm\ConnMgr\Planner\Settings\SuspendResume
- ~GPRS! - means as now, keep the connection up
- GPRS_bye_if_device_off - means use the timeout above if connection is idle

Sound supposedly made louder:
Change the registry:
HKCU\ControlPanel\SoundCategories\Attenuation\2
-was 1 now 3

Change the Net framework
Hkey_local_machine -> software-> Microsoft -> netcompactframework - 2.0.7045.00 = 0 (and also) 3.5.7283.00 = 1

To get iplayer on your phone
In opera goto:
opera:config
Userperfs
Custom User_Agent
-in that field at the end add the following:
sgh-i900
Save

To remove WAP webpage detection:
1) In Opera, type "about:config" or "opera:config" to enter config menu
2) Go to "User prefs"
3) Uncheck "UAProf URL enabled"
4) Restart device

**Update_Service_Setup-2.8.12.9.exe to check for updates for the Phone

And after all that, I know I will have to do all this again when the new firmware comes through.. But it will hopefully be worth it. (still takes a good few hours though)
