Default Battery Icon??
I've just recently got the xperia and just using it I've noticed that the battery icon on the top of the today screen is no longer there. Is there a way of getting it back??

Is the clock showing in the top bar instead of the battery?
There is a setting somewhere or other to change between battery, clock
showing in top bar.
It is mentioned somewhere in this forum, have you tried a search?
Personally i would like to know how to not show clock or battery in the top bar
but have not found out how to get rid of both.

Windows Mobile believe you really don't need to know the battery life left on your mobile device, unless you go looking for it, so don't bother to tell you much, or any, info about it on your device's desktop.

It's not quite the answer you are looking for, but I think it is SPB Pocket Plus which has a feature where it adds a bar all the way across the top of the screen showing battery life. It's only a couple of pixels big/thick, but it's much more accurate than the task bar battery icon, and frees up the slot for something else.

thanks, I managed to figure it out. It was because i had the clock on so when i disable that then the battery icon appears. Looks like you can't disable both though.
