Bulk Buy?

Good evening all.

I, like most users on this site is eagerly awaiting the Sony Ericsson X1, and have found this site while searching for every last bit of information to quench my thirst for one of the most beautiful pieces of equipment I have ever seen.

The most I have ever spent on a phone however, has not exceeded £250, and I doubt I'll ever spend double that on a mobile, possibly a few more quid, but not double, which leads me on to the following. Tomorrow I am going to be making inquiries to some distributors about release dates, but most importantly, price.

So, my question is, if I can get a reasonable price, if any, on buying some of these handsets in bulk, would anyone be interested in buying together so that we can get this phone a bit, hopefully a lot, cheaper than than what is being advertised by most retailers.

I am more than happy to exchange personal details (home phone number/address etc) with people should the opportunity become plausible, as I am not saying, give us your money and I'll get you this cheap, but will require a bit of trust, and a solid group of members who will be committed to purchasing. I obviously don't expect any money to change hands, unless a deal with a distributor can be made.
