Default RSS feeds?
I'm trying to add the BBC News Front Page RSS feed to the Sony Ericsson Xperia panel. I think I've had it working before my hard reset.

It should be:

feed://newsrss.bbc.co.uk/rss/newsonline_uk_edition/front_page/rss.xml

but it keeps coming back "Access failed". REALLY ANNOYING!!!

Does the Xperia only take certain types of RSS feeds?

I'm using Viigo as my RSS and Podcast aggregator, and it is working quite well in my X1. So far, all the RSS feeds have been working quite well, and you can create your own feeds in addition to those they have already made available.

Certainly works better and also better looking than the SE Panel web feeds.

I'm having difficulty with RSS Feeds within Panels. Whilst connected to My ISP feeds work. When connected through ActiveSync(USB) I get 'Access Failed'.
Is this something to do with WM trying to access the internet through ActiveSync?
Also, Opera won't connect whilst using ActiveSync, but IE does??

it seems that the SE Panel only allows html rss feeds and not feed rss feeds... "html://" not "feed://"

I have tried all types of RSS readers and haven't really stumbled on anything I like. Google is supposed to release their Google Reader API this month. When they do this I am going to develop a Google Reader Panel for the Xperia.

With the latest rom I installed on my X1, I notice the cook included something called "RSS Hub".....its nifty and might be exactly what you looking for, I have not searched for it to find a standalone version, but I am sure with a little searching you will be able to find one.

Found it : RSS Hub v1.0

Hi guys, Ive got the same problem, my feeds in the SE panel have been working for 5 days since my phone arrived, then tonight I get "access denied", (or the Swedish equivalent, as I live in Sweden, and there is no English language version available...Grrrrr)
I have installed Xperia tweak V2 and had changed default browser to opera, but then changed it back and still no joy.... any ideas please.....
