u need a registry editor for this. go to HKCU>ControlPanel>PhoneCallFwd and delete any numbers found there in front the 0,1,2,3 (make them all blank but make sure not to delete the numbers themselves)

hope this helps...

I have the same problem, but know how to turn it off - yet everytime I reboot the phone it turns on again... just a headache. I have no idea where to find the HKey Current User program as it is not listed in my documents and settings??

Hkey is found in the registry. you need a registry editor to access it. a very good and free one can be found and downloaded here

I noticed my X1 is on call forwarding when I soft-reset in places where I get poor reception (in this case, my house). The registry changes doesn't stick for me either. Could other good people out there confirm this and possibly offer a fix?

I am using the stock ROM after running the SE updater...It's nothing major, but I'd like to clean it up if I could. I can just go to the Settings/Phone/Call Forwarding and choose 'Get Settings' and the icon goes away...so weak reception may be the key. Maybe I just need to wait long enough for the network to communicate the setings to the phone?
