Question Help? SPB Mobile Shell won't download!
Hi all, I've tried downloading the SPB Mobile Shell pannel from various places (websites) including this one and the Sony Ericsson Website, it seems to download ok, then install, but then I get a message saying download was unsuccessful? I've tried saving the program to both phone memory and memory card, but I still get the same problem? Has anyone, any ideas where it's going wrong!

Can you download and install the original SPB Mobile Shell from Spb Mobile Shell - Pocket PC Products - Spb Software House ?

Hi again, only now just finding the time to do this on my laptop and im still having trouble?
I dont know what i'm doing wrong, am I the only person having trouble doing this?

Ive downloaded the pannel onto my laptop and tried syncing it, as you suggested, but it doesnt appear?

I then tried looking for the file on my phone and eventually found it, when I clicked on the file, it said installing...

But then I get the same message again, not sucsessfull?

Do I have to put it in a special location?

Also, while Im here, I keep getting messages up on my phone saying memory low, but ive added a 8GB memory card, which works as far as I can tell (ive added files on to it)
Do I need to do something for the phone to know its got more memory available to use?

Thanks in advance for any pointers.

Cheers!

Sorry to bring this up again, but i'm still having problems downloading this pannel. I've tried both direct to phone using the cab file and via my laptop. I've also tried from different websites to!
Everything looks promising until thelast moment when I get a message saying download was unsuccessful?
What could I be doing wrong?
Please help, anyone....

Are you still getting low memory? What have you put onto the phones memory that could be transfered to the 8GB card? Music, video etc?

Have you tried to download the panel via the phone?

The 'low memory' message is not related to the size of the memory card - it means the 'phone's working memory - it sounds like you may have too much running at once, or have put too much stuff directly onto your'phone (rather than the memory card). Try switching off and on again to kill any rogue processes or things you're not aware of still running, move all that you can to your memory card and try again. If the 'phone doesn't have enough free memory to run the installation program, it may explain the message you're getting....Windows errors don't always mean what they say...

Sorry if I'm teaching my granny to suck eggs here...
