Vodafone and O2 confirmed for UK/Germany Launch

Those in Germany and the UK can rest a bit easier, as it appears those carriers will be some of the first for the launch of the X1 later this month.

This is turning out to be a good week for the Xperia, and would be willing to bet we hear the remainder of carriers supporting this mobile in the coming week.

EDIT: O2 in the UK is still unconfirmed!

Visiting the local 3 shop today, they said they to are getting the X1 but not sure when due to SE not releasing it in Australia just yet.

i have emailed ericsson as the phone is still not even in their own store and have been told its been released for O2 (dont know where tho) and 2 contact the other networks if i want 2 know if they will release it, waiting to hear back from Orange

just recieved an email back from o2's customer service and the expected launch date is the coming monday the 13th october tariff details to be released then. they also go on to say that it might be possible to preorder by calling the sales team on 08702257879 but that they cant gaurantee anything.
