    does anyone know what the official carrier will be in the u.s. what do you think it will cost.

    well according to the specifications chart, it is 850/900 compatible so that means it can be used for ATT and Tmobile. Im sure sooner or later they both will pick it up, most likely ATT first, then later Tmo. Thats just my opinion/"guestimation".

    I agree with bonelafide, as for the price (my guess for AT&T atleast) will be around $300-$350 since most of their $500 unlocked blackberrys and similar phones go for around $200 and X1 will cost to my guess $800 unlocked.
