In March Sony Ericsson released the white paper for the Xperia X1. Most of you are already drooling at the mouth over the aesthetics and features of the Xperia X1 handset, wait until you see some of these awesome features. Here are just a few that particularly sparked my interest:
- DNLA compatible. This was music to my ears, due to recently problems I had connecting my ps3 and various network drives. DNLA is a sharing standard, it will allow you to share content with other DNLA certified devices, such as the ps3 and xbox.
- Video recording at an impressive 30fps MPEG-4. VGA only.
- Xperia X1 will come pre-loaded with Google maps and Java mobile as well as a whole feast of email features such as Push email and setup wizards for popular clients such as gmail and yahoo.
- Pre-loaded Xperia panels (view video)
So I think you'll agree, this handset is looking more and more appetising. I'll definitely have my name down on the pre-order list.
